About Doctor
Dr. Atish Shah’s path into pediatrics started in the ICU — not the usual entry point, but one that’s shaped how he practices today. He spent two years as ICU in-charge at Ankur Institute of Child Health, working with critically ill infants and children before co-founding Sangini Hospital in 2008 alongside Dr. Tapan Shah.
As a pediatrician and neonatologist, his focus has always leaned toward the cases that need close, careful monitoring — premature babies, newborns in distress, children in the early days after birth when small changes matter a lot. That ICU background means he’s comfortable making fast calls when needed, but just as comfortable at home doing routine check-ups and vaccinations for healthy kids.
